Singer songwriter Joan Osborne has a brand new album, BRING IT ON HOME, of mostly blues and soul with a bit of reggae tossed in. The singer will be performing tracks from it and from her vast catalog of solo albums. For the last decade Osborne has been singing with The Dead and their offshoot groups, Motown’s Funk Brothers and more recently The Holmes Brothers, whose latest album she produced. Both Osborne and the Holme’s Brothers are part of this year’s line up at 2012’s Santa Cruz Blues Festival on Memorial Day Weekend, May 26th and 27th. The audio clip at the top of this article has several tracks from BRING IT ON HOME.
