To paraphrase Chuck Berry, “rollin’ along in my calaboose, trying to get my sounds a loose”, I love blasting rock music while driving long distance solo. It’s better than stopping at Starbucks for an additional lift, not that caffeine doesn’t help. The best part about driving along with the stereo cranked up, there’s no one to tell me to turn it down or worse yet, off. It’s also my chance to listen to new cds that otherwise would alienate my family members. (They still haven’t forgotten the time I tried to get them to listen to the Sex Pistols one Thanksgiving decades ago.)
