On a special edition of the 7th Avenue Project, Brett Taylor shared his own story with interviewer Robert Pollie about how Brett came to love the Latin sound, his travels to Cuba, learning the history of the music and more.

For the last two decades KUSP’s Brett Taylor has presided over The Latin Quarter, one of the best, maybe the best Latin music radio show in the country, informed by Brett’s broad knowledge of Afro-Cuban music, Salsa and Latin Jazz from their earliest days till now.

Explore some of Brett’s past interviews from the Monterey Jazz Festival.
