Handel’s Semele and Messiah Sing Alongs
Join Jim Emdy for a program of music by Handel on Monday Night at the Opera, December 3rd brom 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The featured work will the secular oratorio “Semele”, with selections from two different casts. We will also provide information on participatory Messiah sing-alongs. Here is a partial list:

Host Jim Emdy presents Virgil Thompson’s The Mother of Us All
Join Jim Emdy on Monday Night November 5 at 7 p.m. for a broadcast of Virgil Thomson’s opera about Susan B. Anthony, who fought for the right of women to vote – an election eve special. Also we will hear an interview with Melody King, currently in the cast of Opera San Jose’s next production, “Die Fledermaus.”
